With a full complement of players available for the first time in quite a while, I hope the Stars will be able to have a strong February. It was great that Jamie Benn was able to participate in the ASG. The late night game will be on FSSW+ since there is a early Mavericks game tonight.

Bill, glad to hear that your son is symptom free of his medical issue.

Everyone wants to see the playoffs again, but there is no reason to give up important assets if you aren't really poised to make a run. Sure anything can happen if you get in, but no one can think this team is a player or two away.

Keep up the devolpment of the team and if you can get a reasonable deal in the offseason do it.

Thank you, Jerry. We're relieved that it's nothing to be concerned about. Last year, the doctor told us she did not think there was cause for alarm, but you are always worried until they know for sure.

I agree. I don't think the Stars have enough assets to go after a game-changing player since the young core players (like Benn, Eriksson, Lehtonen, Goligoski) I hope would not be considered in any trade, period!

What do you guys think of a Visnovsky for Grossman trade if Nicklas isn't going to re-sign. Seems Lubo is always a Star killer and it may be nice to have him mentor Larsen? Vis contract is pretty reasonable at 3M next year, I'm sure we'd have to include a pick.

Still prefer to re-sign Grossman but if not?

I would rather have someone younger. Jack Johnson out in la seems to be in the hot seat. Or if management could convince sutter this summer that would be great.

Jack Johnson is probably worth the risk just wonder if he wouldn't cost us more than Joe is wanting to give up?

Sutter would be nice in the summer, but I'm thinking you'll have to back up the truck for him, if him and Weber are looking for commitment to building a contender this team hasn't shown it in spending the last few years.
