They're still a game over .500 without Duchene. IF they manage that or better I like their chances to stay in the hunt. Duchene might be back second week of February depending on when he starts skating. I'm sure he'll test it this week and you might see him at practice after the break. Here's hoping though.

Just dissapointing , 2 big games and the avs come up short on both . If it was me i would of had varly start in ANA and giggy in Min or vice versa, giggy is slow even when he's not tired , starting the last 3 games with giggy was just terrible coaching,one of those games should of went to varly .

Aha ya i guess ....You watch next year when my # 1 , the greatest goalie of all time , non other then MR. Patrick Roy takes over the raines , varly will literally poop in his pants and have a beauti of a comeback year with roy pushing him ..Its ment to be .

Ps .. thank god the realignment isnt happening next year or else we be doomed ,aha well if ya look at the stats but as a die hard avs fan i still say BRING IT !! I have faith in the boys and always will !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cant wait for the all star game to be over and we can get back to business !!

In that I mean Carlyle would bring the best out of the roster and make them really dangerous to play against every night. Carlyle and Hitch's systems are very different.

Me either. I hated his style of hockey in Dallas...sludge slow neutral zone muck and content to win every game 2-1 (or 1-0). Sure he can win games like that (St. Louis has had a remarkable turnaround), but does anyone outside of Minnesota really want to watch hockey like that?
