I heard somewhere earlier today that Ryan Whitney could be back for tomorrow night's game. Hope he's finally healthy & ready to go, or else there's no point of rushing him back to play. Dubey was stellar tonight. I've been saying for a while that since we're out of the playoffs, we should give Dubey the majority of the starts. He tends to show up when he's playing often, which hasn't been the case this season.

From what I understand when it comes to Whitney, the Oilers and he want to give it another go to see if he can play through the pain. He could basically play at any time. If his ankle doesn't respond well once he comes back he'll be gone for the season.

Great game - well kinda... anytime you beat the sharks its a great feeling and esp for this team! I liked thor and petrell tonight... they do not need to be making highlight reel dekes inorder to be considered good/great... they helped us push a big sharks team back a bit and it was nice... sutton and pecks -they provided some nice presence and fear for the sharks... wow maybe the other teams will notice hemmer injuring another player like burns and not shattering!!! see he won some stock tonight anyway regardless of the nice setup he did for thornton likely dubey's best game this year... and good for him and us... we all want to believe he has it... (frank) chorney played well tonight... overall some good positives to take away and build on...

Man did any of you see Stewart pound Stuart into next year... it was AWESOME!!! and I so want him on our team! a star fwd sees his teammate get on the bad side of a questioned hit... he goes out and beats the piss out of him... we need players to go out and stick up for one another... we need STEWART!

Read on tsn Whitney is about 80% and doesn't think he will improve much more this season. Said he was going to try to play tonight (which he didn't) or against Vancouver to see how he feels and then decide on the rest of the season.

To be fair the rest of the team was poor against the Flames as well.

Probably since an 8-2 thrashing from the Rangers last year. completely flat. Tonight you could at the very least see an effort. I think they got lucky, but hey I'm happy they got a win.
