Was just reading Portzline's article. What a mess they have in Columbus. It's so sad too because that fan base stuck by their crappy team for a really long time. They're just now getting into 'Fight Back' mode where they're opting to not renew their season tickets.

On the one hand, who can blame them. When the club retains the people responsible for the train wreck there's nothing to believe in. On the other hand, revolting against the ownership is exactly why Atlanta no longer has a team. Those fans willfully stopped paying for a bad product, and they lost their team because of it.

So what do you do? Do you continue to buy tickets and give the owners zero reason to build a winner? Or do you speak with your pocketbook and risk losing your team. It sucks to be a BJs fan.

For the life of me, i can not understand how Howson has kept his job. He is must have some pics of someone imporant with some animal. Definitely a case where just throwing money at something doesnt always solve the problem. Carter, Umburger, et al and one playoff appearance without a playoff win. I am beginning to think that Nash doesnt really care about winnng as he has chosen to stay through all of this.

While I disagree with this and do not want to see this happen, bourque will be the odd man out most likely. Yip is here for at least a month as he was picked off of waivers. Bourque fits in so well with that line, but you can't sit 24 much longer as he has the quietest 10 goals on this team

Agree. Halischuck is having a heck of a year. Don't crush his spirit!

I think they must have read your post because they came out flying and laid it on in the 3rd. Great effort..Although the 2nd was typical flat pred hockey.

I almost feel sorry for CBJ. I wish they'd get pissed, get their mojo, and beat up on Chicago, Detroit and St. Louis for the rest of the year!

The "you suck" jeers were difficult tonight. Columbus is a team in a very deep multi-year funk. I wish 'em the best for the remainder of the season. In fact, go ahead and win out the remainder of the Western Conference games BJ's - our series is done for this season. With 9 divisionals remaining vs the Blues, Wings, Hawks and another 19 or so with other WC teams it's your turn to wreak havoc!

I know that is probably isnt possible but man oh man would i like to see 61 in Preds sweater. That dude is just a man among boys most of the time he is on the ice. I laughed out loud a couple of times last night watching Ellis defend Nash. Looked like Shaq against Billy Barty.

Godspeed the rest of the way Columbus. I have to admit sitting up there the only one I could say "you suck" to was the ownership and to Steve Mason. Talk about a fall from grace. They need to utilize their probable first pick in the draft to the best they can and get something going. Props to the fans up there for sticking it out though.

A lot of those fans are done. Now that Howson is returning they've finally had enough. I can't blame them.
