Bill, if Larsen does get activated, that would give the Stars eight defensemen so I assume someone has to go. In my opinion, Pardy has not played anywhere close to his salary level and should be waived or traded if that is possible. But he is a veteran with a two year contract so how do you think the Stars will manage this situation? With Jordie Benn and Brenden Dillon on the AHL club and with Olesiak and the Swedish kid (don't remember his name) on their World Junior team probably ready for the AHL next year, the Stars have some reasonable defensive prospects.

I agree that Pardy is a candidate for waivers. I doubt he'd be claimed. Patrik Nemeth and John Klingberg were the two Stars prospects on Team Sweden at the WJC.
