Can't fault the effort but the Stars have to find a way to manufacture some goals and in particular find a way to get Eriksson and Ryder in scoring situations. Lehtonen had a great game and Bachman will need a similar effort tonight against Detroit for the Stars to have any chance at getting points. It is becoming old to say it, but the PP has to find a way to contribute.

Tremendous game last night by the Stars. A very gritty effort by an undermanned team.

They did all the right things against the Blues, (except score) very physical, sticks in the lanes, kept guys out of the front of the net, or punished them when they went there.

For whatever reason, the Blues have never looked good against Lehtonin.

Blues were fortunate to come away with 2 pts. Now, please go out and beat the Wings if it's not too much trouble.

This team just simply doesn't have the depth to withstand the injuries it has this season.

When this team was healthy to start the season, they were dangerous. This is a good group that is excelling under Gulutzan.

I can't wait to see what he can do when he's given with a little more talent + depth. Hopefully the Star's will dip a bit into free agency this summer to bring in some help.

The Stars have a lot of good bottom 6 forwards but there is no top level depth especially at center. I still believe the Stars might be better off getting another top level center and moving Benn back to his natural wing position, at least for the present.

Trade for stastny, then trade for sutter. Ben saying it for the last year in a half. we need a 1c and a top pairing dman. We have the cap space and money to do it now with the new owner.

As a Wings fan I have always had a healthy respect for the Stars. Last game was a shoot out really as neither goalie could stop anything, sad to see Benn out of the line-up that dude is and will continue to be a beast. Good luck tonight to both teams!
