Granted, this may call for a couple games, but as a Rangers fan, I hope he gets no games only to even out the karma that Washington deserves from what Tom Wilson did to Panarin and Buchnevich with no suspension a couple years ago.

I thought that GMMG would have given Quinn another Season to run out his contract. There must be someone out there that MG wants to grab before he misses out...

Will this be The Return of TMac or will the Pens move on from Sullivan and the Sharks can bring back an Original Shark to the fold...

3-5 games. Care to give a reason? Any analysis at all?

He didn't take a long run.
He didn't leave his feet.
He kept his elbow down.
He didn't target the head. There was head contact but it was simulatenous with body contact.
He has no history of suspensions.
There is clear precedent that the length of suspension in the playoffs is much less given the importance of the games.

So there is a quick analysis. Took about 2 minutes. I say zero games. Maybe 1 if they feel like sending a message. Good blog.

Quinn’s biggest accomplishment was bringing Granlund back from the dead. Eklund was coming on late in the season. Seems more a case of Grier just do something to cover the tank.

The refs originally gave Panarin a penalty, but after review realized it was a clean hit. Obviously, you said suspension for clicks.

they haven't even given 3-5 games in the playoffs when a player was injured and the guy was a repeat offender

It was reviewed by Toronto and they negated the penalty clean hit. Nothing to discuss further. Could have given Oshie an embellishing penalty. He tried his hardest to sell it causing him to have to go to concussion protocol

Do you even know what a reverse hit is? This was not a reverse hit.

I will give you the "he didnt leave his feet" but the "didnt go for the head" he might not have been aiming for the head, but there was head contact.
since its playoffs, i think he might get one game.

Agree w hating the Rangers, but then I hate the Caps as well. It looked dirty, could have avoided the hit to the head, but didn’t. In a fair world, I’d say a game or two. He doesn’t have a history of dirty hits, and it’s the playoffs, so yeah, 1-2 should do it.

If there is none, then play a goon and take a run at his head. Settle it yourself.
