Two very questionable calls went against the Isles. They looked pretty solid. Ran into a hot goalie.

No, not really. Andersen’s rebound control was shaky in the first two periods. Yeah he was hot in the third, but we had chances. How many posts were hit? Palms having the puck roll off his blade with basically an empty net. They played well, just didn’t have the puck luck.

John Tavares could have helped out with your lack of scoring

Tell me you know nothing about the Islanders without telling me you know nothing about the Islanders.

Like he helped the Leafs in last night's game against the Bruins?

Should have been the lines for games one with Pageau injury . I would roll these lines if he can not make gm 2.

I think you’ll see the same lines if JGP is still out but these are something Roy can go (back) to if they aren’t working. For the most part the lines were working they just didn’t finish. No puck luck.

Not so sure it will happen, but I would strongly consider taking Martin out if Pageau plays tonight.

I imagine this will get some interesting replies. Though I didn’t type it so maybe not.

Agreed. Frustrating but there’s no points for chivalry in the playoffs.

I mean, in fairness, cheating a little is one thing. Multiple outright blatant flops are pretty bad.

Hey the refs can stop it if they so choose. You know they're going to be watching hard for it tonight.

Not if they work for your team. Do what you have too. Islanders seem to have a problem with that. Two times recently in the ECF with Tampa comes to mind.

Meh, I'd be pretty annoyed if Barzal was out there acting like he got shot when someone's stick touched his leg. Gaming the system a little bit is one thing and fine, but I'm not on board with the outright diving, from any team. Especially not when it happens multiple times.

I would hope they are, Skjei and Slavin did a pretty thorough job of making them look like imbeciles on Saturday.

Don’t get me wrong I’m not a fan of diving but I am a big fan of winning. If Barzal flopped and the ensuing PP led to the game winning goal I sincerely doubt we’d be talking about the dive.

It’s the playoffs. Doesn’t matter how you win as long as you do. If and when we lose we can pat ourselves on the back for being on the right side of morality. 😂
