Could see they’re are getting back into their game. The forechecking pressure is returning with the forwards more diligent of covering for the D when they pinch in.
The powerplay seems to miss Verhaeghe over on the left side, with him not there the defenders are just camping around rhino to try and take that threat away. |

Improved play recently, but still a lot to clean up before the playoffs. Verhaeghe definitely is being missed. Also, PoMo has been rotating in some depth guys. Bob and Stolarz look playoff ready, let's hope the offense and defense can step up again for the playoffs.
Strike early and often tonight. Don't let the Sabres hang in there.

Kyle Okposo is just carry-on luggage. This is not a Disney movie, and the fact is that he is a healthy scratch 95% of the games and he contributes nothing to the Panthers. The leadership comes from Matthew Tkachuk. As Matthew Tkachuk goes, so do the Panthers. Tarasenko is no big deal either. He just wanted to come to Florida to be with his family in Westin. Stop looking at these acquisitions with rose-colored glasses. |
