I haven’t paid close attention this year. But sounds like all of the usual Buzztron issues persist. I just reviewed the standings. I counted two teams that don’t play the full 82 games. Then several others where the projected record isn’t even feasible. Like how is Tampa projected to finish with 6 OT/SO losses when they already have 7? St. Louis, Edmonton, Seattle all have more OT/SO losses than the final projections. Also sounds like the usual inaccuracies when tabulating the results. But I guess the Buzztron fills in some content while we wait for the playoff predictions. Those are my favourite.

Maybe it’s better to think small to fix one issue. AI math could probably help with the tabulation.

If I had to prioritize I would probably suggest having each team play 82 games, followed closely by being able to accurately count the results the next day. Stuff like tiebreakers is just wishful thinking. Baby steps.

I feel like at this point he has to be doing this on purpose, it's hard to believe someone is so accidently incompetent. His absolutely stupidity probably drives more traffic and engagement, and I think the fact he isn't checking comments to see what people are saying enforces that.

Yes he reads comments. You are right this is all on purpose. But for what benefit? A few cheap clicks?

Why not just try a legitimate set of predictions with open debate on how its working?

Or skip the predictions and go back to rumours. Is Lindholm going to stay in Vancouver? What's Tampa going to do with Stamkos? Will Kane stay in Detroit or move on? There are legit hockey stories that could be discussed with insight from his network of sources.

I mean it’s simple, stupidity drives more traffic than just being another hockey forum. People seem to come here for the express purpose to tell him how stupid he is constantly. You can get regular hockey discussions and rumours anywhere, but come watch the absolutely clown show that is HockeyBuzz.

Also I think it’s cute you think he has any actual sources and has literally any inside information lol.
