Great blog Jan! Thanks for the recap

Certainly not how the team drew it up I'm sure, but take the two points and run. Shesty had an off night, our D did the same for the most part, and we still managed to pull out two points. That's what great teams do. They find ways to win.

This season really has been such a treat. Looking back on it I remember talking to TJ at the beginning of the season and hoping the Rangers play .500 hockey for the first half of the year. What they've done has been incredibly impressive. Tons of credit to Lavs and super happy he was able to get win # 800 last night. Hopefully this team can rest up these last ten games, get fully healthy for the playoffs, and do some damage. I feel confident against anybody in the East. Bring on whoever. I don't think I've ever felt this comfortable rolling four lines than i do with this group. I know the playoffs are a different beast altogether, but this team feels special

Wild game. Tough to match the intensity of a desperate team but they consistently find a way even when they suck

Scanlin and Ruhwedel aren’t good. Philly seemed to feast on that pair all night, we need Lindgren and Trouba back. Although, I might play them together and leave the Jones Fox, Miller Schneider pairs in tact, with Gus as the 7th D. Those 4 have really carried the load pretty well. Fox is Norris level like Jan said for a while now

They have an easy schedule coming up once they leave Colorado. Give me the pres trophy since 30 years ago it worked out well. I don’t believe in that curse!

That was wild last night. Based on Valiquette's stats, it was more even than I thought. But I thought the Rangers were not sharp with their decision making, their line changes were sloppy and yes. Down 4 players, I get it. On the other hand, they have stones of steel. Good teams find ways to win when they're not performing great.

I might be in the minority, but in my opinion, they need to keep truckin and go win the conference and/or the league. Their season ends on 4/15. The final game is played on 4/17. So they will have a solid 5 days off before G1. Go get this and earn any G7 you might play at MSG where they have been fantastic this season and in G7's past.

Actually I didnt get them from him, I actually turned him down because I was already going to the Pens and Devils games. A buddy of mine texted me out of the blue that he had an extra ticket... now a free ticket, I cant turn down.

Would be interesting if the Flyguys finish 8th and you finish first. Would make for a good first round series! Obviously, you would be pretty heavily favored, but the Flyers wouldn't make it easy on you.

I don't understand the loser mentality of actually wanting to finish 2nd bc of being afraid to play a team. Pay attention, these guys don't back down from anyone and they're going to have to beat these teams anyway.

They should want to win to avoid Tampa, because Tampa owns this Franchise.

So did the Penguins but the NYR overcame that one in 2014. You can't win a title and not exorcize demons along the way so if it's Tampa, so be it. If not, it's Florida or Boston' problem

and this is better than what you read on twitter who want them to slide to 2nd to play the 3rd team in the Metro and just, you know, give up G7 to Carolina in Raleigh. Ya ya the NYR play well there, but there this thing about going to a well too many times.

Laviolette's response to the president's trophy chase is "well I don't wanna lose any games" and that's the best way to be

Did anyone see this? The crowd tipped Mika off that he had a break on the PK. Pretty cool! (Not sure how to properly embed this lol)

It's pretty wild to think about. I think his hype may have surpassed the Linsanity era. I sent that tweet to my buddy this morning in disbelief. Kids got to be feeling pretty good about himself. I think he's earned a spot in the lineup come playoff time. Do you?
