Jeremy Laura: Detroit’s opportunity to gain ground vs Isles, Larkin an afternoon decision

The Wings have a brutal schedule for the rest of March. Tonight, will be a huge game as both teams are fighting for the last spot. Det then has Preds (13-0-2 in past 15), Caps (also in the mix), Canes (8-2 in last 10), and Florida (best team in league).

April isn't much better with games against TB, NYR, Caps and Leafs. Half of the Isles opponents are playoff teams and same for Caps. It just might boil down to Detroit's last two games against MTL. If ever there was a time to go on another hot streak, now is the time.

Seriously. I’ll say that coming down to the wire is a little gut wrenching, but good things have happened this year. We can do the list of “goodbye’s” at season’s end. For now, we’ll see how the team fares.

And multiple coaches. The best “starting” teams have those bizarre rituals of slamming into each other in the halls and there used to be tons of the “smelling salts” guys

Are you in a lifetime league or do you have annual drafts? I’m not in one, but a good friend (Chicago fan) drafted Kane the year Kane entered the league and had him (may still if that league is still going) for the cups and everything after

I’m in one of each but he’s on my annual draft. Tried to get Kane for the stack but didn’t work out.
