I'd have preferred to see Holl moved as well. If they're not going to play him, move him out. That being said, Yzerman may have tried with no success.

Or crying. That was a fairly candid quote. Whoever they looked at Yzerman talked about a replacement for Kostin (indicating what Kostin was supposed to be) but that the prices didn’t make sense.

Yeah. That would have been a solid move out. He mentioned 4 D from GR in the course of it all. Wallinder, Edvinsson, Tuomisto and Johansson. He did mention Rafferty but in a different question regarding “NHL veterans in GR”, like Lashoff had done. Where you could call them up and they weren’t totally new to the scene.

Yzerman really guards his words in an interesting way. It seems to frustrate the press at times but I think he just knows that every word lives forever on the internet. Can you imagine if there were camera phones in the 80s and all of the 90s?

Wings lose this they do not deserve a playoff spot.... these players look like they don't give a damn....... embarrassing and shameful......

Not like Fester can trade for a top 6 center or a decent top 4 RHD. This team doesn't have anyone to pick up the slack from losing a Larkin or Seider.

None of their centers beyond Compher belong as a top 6 center even short term. His only other option would be to call up Kasper and pray he can somehow put up points while not being a crap show defensively.

Petry as a top 4 RD is horrible and Holl same thing...neither belong anywhere near the top 4.

Wings are going to be crap until Larkin gets back. Hoping that Veleno, Copp, Fabbri, Ras can hold down a top 6 center role and get hot is wishful thinking.
