Ty Anderson: Bruins beat Leafs again; Swayman talks trade rumors

Very much regretting selling those tickets last night. What a game and 2011 celebration.

It was a dogfight atmosphere. Bos had a way better defensive structure and ultimately came down to Woll letting in a couple softies. If I were a Leafs fan I wouldn’t be comfortable with that goaltending. I’m not sure it can hold up.

Debrusk showed me enough that he should be their own playoff rental. I’d like to see Donnie bring in someone like Dumba and Patches. Perhaps a depth centerman that could move up and down the lineup.

Not sure on Ullmark. If the return is massive, I’d consider it obviously.

Ended getting last minute tickets. The person in my season ticket group had last night ended getting sick. So awesome to be there for 2011 cup team ceremony and that absolute beatdown on the Leafs.

If these 2 teams meet in the playoffs and that game was a preview I'm all in - that was entertaining AF.

Woll is still shaking off the rust after being off for a long time, his high ankle sprain happened in the first week of December and that's his 2nd start since coming back. He will be fine and Sampsonov is the hot hand currently anyhow.

We can't all be blessed with an Ulmark / Swayman tandem you lucky bastards.

That was good and he has a lot of potential. He has size and a calmness about him that has him set up for success but you just don't know until you know.

I'm not sold on any of the names I've heard as being available helping us either short or long term. Barring Donny pulling off another Hampus Lindholm trade, I really don't want us making linear moves. Unless it involves DeBrusk!

I want them to and hope they do nothing. Don't waste the capital. They have needs to fill at center and D. Also need to restock some picks to enable future dealings when the time is right. Wait for the offseason.

LMAO, Hey glove, did you see the interview with Ference...was asked about the glove and he said he sent it to a friend that was on military deployment...packed in the "correct" orientation.

They're usually pretty smart with the injury histories so I'd imagine he's good to go. Physical player and a high character guy. I really don't see the downside.

That's (frank)ing awesome! I haven't seen/heard the interview. I got lucky and was able to get tickets around 3PM yesterday.

I dont hate the move, gives them some sandpaper and veteran experience.

I'm sure I am the outlier here, but I've been down on Ullmark since his interview after losing game 6 last year. Something along the lines of "I will wake up tomorrow to sunshine, so I'm fine". What a sh!tty attitude to have. Now hearing he blocked us from making a potential splash, I'm even more down on him. I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but I've kind of had enough of him.

Edit: I partly blame Sweens for giving him the NMC as well. If we track it back, it's kind of his own fault.

Looks like Zboril is getting a fresh start. Wish him well, never hated him and just when he was getting traction he has the knee injury and he could never recover here. Don't know much about Peeke other than he's a big body d-man. Also heard it will require more salary to be moved so maybe some other transaction not yet made public.

100% true. He was one of the names I eluded to in my first post on this thread. He seems to be a cancer to whatever team he goes to, and quite frankly, isn't very good. However, since no one has given any concrete names that were potentially involved, I'm going to go ahead and assume (hope) it wasn't him. My feelings on Ullmark remain. Swayman is our future in net anyway.
