I can’t think of a contender that wouldn’t put Perron on their 2nd power play. That would work great. I think the problem is deeper than just the roster spot. I don’t know the details but it’s like when your parents were having a pre divorce conversation. The kid walks into the room and it’s a vacuum. I’m not walking into any rooms but the people I know who do know give total silence (the two of three people who have never let me down or put speculation as fact. They’d rather say nothing than give bad info and those are rare people.)
If they do go that route and this washes away, it’s an overall plus. Perron’s got a terrific mind, would be a good assistant on special teams coaching. At some point you trade the jersey for a sport jacket.
Kuznetsov on post “program” waivers. Over under on any teams that would take him? I was shocked Vrana passed through so I don’t know that this would be different. Not a great reputation unless someone has heard different.
