So many bone-headed defensive plays! With all the trade talk circulating, I'm wondering if some of these guys have checked out. I don't know what the hell is up with Gibson either. Is he looking like an idiot out there because he doesn't want to get traded? Who knows. This was a terrible loss to an equally bad team playing a back-to-back. Interesting side note, Anaheim is 2-8 playing teams on the 2nd night of a back-to-back. I used to think that was an advantage. Kind of like home ice used to be an advantage, however, the Ducks playing .286 at the Ponda vs. .426 away from it kinda dispels that.
Fortunately, in the big picture, this doesn't matter. The Ducks will take their top 5 lottery pick and go quietly until next year. The only real thing to get excited about is hoping to see Cutter play a few games this year.

Z / Leo / Cutter for the last 8 games of the year

Gibson has definitely checked out…

Last night was worse than the Leaf beat down…

Rico for 2nd & 3rd
Lundy for Nick Robertson
The Boosh for a 4th
Carrick for a 6th

So….
Henrique (retained) and Lundestrom
for
Nicky Bobby 2nd and 3rd

Done 👍

You’ll need to take back David Kant

Uh, hard no on Kampf (I'm assuming that's who you meant), the Ducks already are paying plenty of people who can't score, thank you very much.

Hey why not 1 more…

Kampf is not bad if you trade Lundy & Carrick you need someone to PK and he can do that pretty well and is good in the dot… it wouldn’t be the worst move Verbeek has made…

Then why trade Lundestrom? He and Kampf are the same player and Isac is cheaper.

Every night seems like 3 or 4 players are cruising. Dostal didn't look sharpe either his last game. It's the mental side of the game. Hard to play hard when you about to be eliminated. But we need them to keep working hard just so they can build up thier conditioning level. It might not be important this season, but being able to play 82 at a competitive level is important if we wana make it to the postseason eventually. I mean a season is never gonna be perfect. But they level they need to reach has to be good enough to keep up with the Kings, Kracken, Oilers, Knights. Right now we are two thirds the way and the Ducks look like their out out gas. Not good. Not Good at all.
Randy Carlyle once said " you need to practice like you play in game". I don't believe that come playoff time that these Duck players are just going to be able to flip the switch and play at a competitive level. They need to build up that attitude during the season, make the playoffs, then go in ready
