Carry over from last thread:

This has been a hallmark of the Sweeney era. Whenever this happens there is very rarely a response either on the ice or the scoreboard. I don't think it's coaching it's happened under Julien, Cassidy and now Montgomery. Throughout this era they've never had a player long term who has that mentality.

I would have to agree. And I cant speak for everyone, but when I talk about adding toughness or grit, this is what I am getting at. Honestly dont think it should just be one player but a team mentality, but that is just me.

Brazeau also had a very good game. Looking forward to seeing more. Something tells me he will probably end up back in providence but it was nice to see a little life from the fourth line.

Getting the 2 pts is great, but...

Blowing a 3 goal lead and two sep 3rd period leads and going into OT is not a good look.

Bruins will be out in 1st round if they continue this way.

Sorry they didn’t win the way you wanted them to. Edmonton hasn’t lost at home this calendar year. They were down a dman in the first period. No Hampus.

That being said, Debrusk needs his dad in the building every night. He’s a different player with Loui in the house.

Can we interest you in a Noah Hanifin?
All we want in return is Lohrei or Poitras plus your next available 1st.
We will even retain 50% on Hani.

Thought Lohrei had one of his better games last night. Definitely showing his potential. If he improves his defensive game and learns to use his size, he could be a beast.

Another blown lead (with < 2 min left in game) and another OTL (only NYI have more OTL than the Bruins).

You still think this isn't an issue?

And TOO MANY MEN penalty in OT? FFS.

The Burins could set a league record if they blow another lead and lose in OT against the Knights. This team is officially chugging Richards. How do you lose a game where a guy gets a hat trick?

If it takes the refs 5-10 minutes to review a goalie interference. It shouldn’t be overturned.

Nothing quite destroys momentum like a lengthy review after a goal.

Once Geekie beat Grub and had the puck behind him, he wasn’t making that save. That’s when the contact happened.

It's almost comical at this point. The fall back to earth has been pretty epic here. They will need some kind of help at the TDL. I still don't think a big trade will happen, but something in the middle six needs to change.

This poop is getting old now. Monty needs to take a chill pill on the in-game line juggling. What a mess

I said about a month ago it was fools gold. Still enjoyed the poop out of it but the real identity of the team is here. They're missing critical pieces, and there most likely going to have to rely on the draft to retool. Trying to maximize Chara, Bergeron, and Krejci's windows were the right moves but they missed the mark. They're short on tradeable assets now. They may get some bargoons at the TDL but it's bubble gum, duct tape, positive thinking, and hoping for luck is all they're going to be able to get. I'd be pleasantly surprised if there was a possibility or even a reality for more than that.

Agreed! And the mistakes that Lohrei is making are purely self-pressure from feeling like he has to make plays just to stay in the lineup. The kid is good enough to be a regular in the lineup and he should be re-assured of that vice looking over his shoulder. And another thing. I've said this before but if McAvoy is a no poop true #1 then Lohrei should be paired with him every night. Just like all the other newbies being paired with Chara. Let him learn from "the best" and "the best" can cover for his occasional mistakes that are going to happen. Move Gryz where he belongs, on the third pairing (or preferably another team).

Completely agree. Reviews are the worst thing to happen to the NHL this side of the Arizona Coyotes. Belongs in the trash cause that's what it is. I don't gamble and (frank)ing hate the effect it is having on sports in general.

Do a shakeup at the TDL. Trade gryz and debrusk for different players and add to the middle six and depth on d, or a prospect that could restock the cupboard a tad.

Let lohrei play and give him minutes. He can take gryz's spot with McAvoy. He has the raw skills, let him develop. Or Lindholm. If someone needs to play the opposite side it should be our top two guys on the back end.

Figure it out. They have the talent to win, but need to shake it up. And for the love of God can we get some set lines already. Chemistry is what is going to get this team even remotely close to winning on the post season. Develop some instead of this ridiculous Monty blender of linew
