Keeping lines together? Nah, not in Monty's DNA. To hell with generating chemistry, that's for the classroom.

He says he plans to meet with Bettman, not sure if he has been released by the player assistance program.

No thanks.
Dismissed does not mean he didn't do it.

"Lucic’s wife opted not to testify against him, invoking martial privilege."

So she did not want to go to court. Police were called and charged him for a reason.

He can earn his living on another team as far as I'm concerned. If another team will have him...

Got it, guilty until proven innocent...pretty sure that's how things are in Russia (fill in most middle east states, communist China, North Korea, etc., etc...all nice places to live I'm sure).

Think ND just needs to show how tough and righteous he is. Told him months ago this is probably how this ends. Asked him then if dismissed is good enough for him. Guess not !
So anyone charged with anything is guilty and should lose their livelihood and maybe go to jail too.

First of all, ifyou think Lucic will step on the ice (tomorrow? next week?) and make a difference, you are wrong. You overestimate his abilities by a long shot.

Secondly, here's the player you want playing for the team you cheer for...

According to a copy of the police report obtained by the Boston Globe , Brittany alleges that Lucic, one of the most feared fighters in the NHL, grabbed her by the hair and threatened to choke her, frightening her badly enough that she phoned police. This should have been the lead topic on a Hockey Night in Canada panel that normally induces nothing more powerful than an irresistible urge to fall asleep.

The report says the argument was triggered when Lucic couldn’t find his phone. When his wife said she didn’t have it and tried to walk away, that’s when he allegedly grabbed her hair and said, “you’re not going anywhere.

He seems like a stand-up guy right?
I suggest you have Bran Flakes for breakfast cuz you appear to be in need of some moral fibre.

EDIT - and pretty sure you said he would not be charged. Well he was charged - and the only reason it's not going to trial is because his wife did not press charges. This happens in many cases so don't kid yourself into believing it never happened.

How many coaches/managers in Chicago were convicted of a crime?
How many execs in Hockey Canada were convicted of a crime.

All let go without convictions because it was obvious they breached a moral clause in their contracts and were a stain on the team.

Lucic is a stain on the team.

Obviously you know nothing . How could I say he would not be charged. The charges were made at the arraignment. You are reading a POLICE report and taking that as gospel truth. I said there is no way he is convicted of assault because for your info there is law which spells out what an assault is. Grabbing someone’s hair is not assault if that is what happened. I guess if the police wrote a report on Taylor Swift’s boyfriend saying he while enraged aggressively pursued coach
Reid and using profanity physically assaulted him nearly knocking him to the ground, you would be ok with charges. Please stop with the moral fiber b.s. you are another one of the hypocrites who now follow the agenda of the day making like your a standup hero. Case was dismissed, can’t be any negative inference drawn because you don’t like
it. Back to hockey he definitely is something the bruins are missing, again you show you know nothing.

They weren’t charged criminally you genius.
So nothing could be dismissed. They made managerial decisions to not report incidents . They paid with their jobs. You have decided that Lucic is a piece of Sh-t . Fine. Saying someone who before this incident was well respected is a stain on the team is your opinion . This case is dismissed period.

Really, so he is NOT an element that is missing from this pretty soft team. Marchand and Ullmark getting run is no problem for you ?

And please show me ANY article or ANY interview
With any coach, player, commentator that questions Lucic’s character. Come on big mouth
You prove my point perfectly. You throw out judgement’s and negative bs with nothing to prove anything you say. Guess that’s called character

He will not return.
He's in the employee assistance program for the remainder of the season.

Toughness is missing from the team, correct.

Lucic is NOT the answer to that.

How you think he could step onto the ice now and be a positive contribution this season to the team is astounding.

And I suspect you really don't understand what "character" means.

Just like the three Duke lacrosse players right?

You said dismissed doesn't mean he didn't do it and you are correct but just as correct is charged doesn't mean he did do it.

I'd prefer to never see him in a Bruin uniform again. Even setting his legal issues aside he is not the answer to the Bruins problems. No way he could step on the ice and contribute. He'd always be 3 steps behind the play.

We'll have to agree to disagree.

Four games played, two assists. Just his presence makes a difference. But yes, we will agree to disagree.

The Lucic that started the season helps big time . That being said if he is in need of continued rehab for addiction problems that changes everything. If the bruins trade for Patrick M or someone like him then Lootch is done.

Criminal stuff aside, doesn't seem like he will make a return whether folks want him to or not. Best to move on. I hope he gets the help he needs. I'm gonna end my piece on that.
