The All-Star game is the biggest waste. Like you said none of the stars really want to be there and it's just goof-off time. They should have been an All-Star game with all the top prospects coming into this year's draft and making it a real game. Scouts galore would be there taking notes.

I think the Panthers should stand pat at the trading deadline. Rumors of them getting Duclair or Hoffman back just don't jive with me. Both of those players don't play a 200-foot game and are defensive liability. Boone Jenner would bring character to the team, but Columbus isn't going to give him up without a high draft pick or prospect.

Of the two, I’d take Duclair back for his speed.

Hoffman works best on a team that he can afford to let him just be a floater and look for one-timers and be 100% offense and zero defense.

You guys think Tippett has a big game? Feels like he’s going to.

Panthers looked like they just didn’t have it tonight. The Flyers were really in their faces through the second and third, Panthers had little time to make plays, and turned the puck over a lot. Good game for Philly

No way to Hoffman
I like Duclair, even with his defensive liabilities, but idk if they’d bring him back.

Ersson has been pretty much the same as Hart this year. This is his chance to show if he can handle it. I think they might ride that kid until Kolosov is ready.

As for Tippett, yeah, he’s settled in nicely. In fact, he’s getting first line nods. The guy can find the net. Flashes some nice moves. Fans seem to really like him.

Tippet is lookin like a player good for 50 points and close to 30 goals per season. Hey, the number might even rise if he finds himself on a line opposite of Michkov in a couple of seasons.

Sorry Giroux didn’t help you get the Cup. We were all hoping he would. Love that guy. All the same, I’m pretty happy with the deal.
