Happy they are injury-free now, but they always get many injuries the week before playoffs start. I hope they rest as many guys as possible before the regular season ends.

Lohrei and Beecher sent down. Frankly I would rather see Lohrei in the lineup over Gryz (or Lindholm for that matter).

Lindholm can only score in his own net…just useless

Agreed. Wish lohrei got to stay and just cycle in with the 7th D.

Heinen. That's all I can say. Guy is putting in the work right now and it's paying off. What a steal of a signing.

JVR is also a steal. He has 29 points.

It's great he's contributing. Don't hate the guy but he needs to do it more consistently and against teams that don't allow 9 goals.

Heinen one-upped him doing so at a cheaper cost.

The bargain signings are paying off this year. Doesn't always work out that way for teams, but I'm glad it is for the bruins this year.

I wouldn't overlook Geekie either. Also getting it done at a relatively cheap price.

Nobody is complaining about Heinen and the great value he has shown. But plenty here complain about JD's value (you included). Regular 20+ per season goal scorers (which is what JD is), make "at least" $4M+ per year. Those that get near or surpass 30 goals generally make $5M+ per year.

There was a good article on The Hockey Writers site about JD's contributions and the teams stats 5 on 5 when he is on the ice. Let's not forget he isn't on the first team PP anymore since the "specialist " JVR has arrived. He's playing many more short handed minutes now compared to previous seasons as well. The big change in JD is that during the early season scoring slump, the rest of his game didn't suffer, he was still contributing to the team's success unlike previous seasons where scoring slumps impacted every aspect of his play.

has yet to hit 30+ so let's not even go near 5M.

Jake is still getting PP time - he's 7th on the team. 7 of his 24 pts have come on the PP.

I hope continues to play like he has last few games.

Yes, he's on the second PP unit. Oh, and there's no doubt he hits 30+ last season if he hadn't missed almost 6 weeks (after playing on a broken leg in the Winter Classic).
