Panthers pretty much took the crowd out of the game. They controlled the play for most of the game.

There's a small percentage of me that feels like maybe Tkachuk is saving himself for the post season.

Tkachuk is still a force. he gets in front of the net, creates havoc, and hates to lose which the other teammates admire, and try to mimic his tenacity. It would help if you remembered that he gave it his all in the Stanley Cup final and got banged up. He even played a game with a broken sternum. It takes time to heal. So, give the guy a break.
