Trevor Neufeld: Battle of the Offensively Anemic - Flames-Golden Knights Game Day

Sorry for missing a couple games, guys. I took on a massive role at CalgaryHockeyNow and things are finally settling in to a rhythm where I'm not getting overwhelmed by writing assignments. If you like my work on here, feel free to check it out.

This game scares me. They stack up well against the Knights right now, but they tend to wet the bed in their first game back home after a roadie.

I expect that there will be too much trying to pass the puck into the back of the net tonight, instead of just giving it a shot blitzkrieg.

I hope Markstrom stops the first one. And the next 5.

Thanks and you’re welcome! Ras gets the night off from the power play and Hanifin gets a look. Should be interesting to see if they can get a faster tempo going.

Congrats Trevor and well deserved.

Although it may be premature I feel Ryan Huska deserves some credit.

He started the year with a fragmented team with players headed clearly in different directions.

His "earn your ice time" philosophy is a refreshing change compared to his predecessor's old boys club.

The trick now is for Conroy to try and manipulate the cap space (no easy task) so players who want to play can be shuffled in and out accordingly.

How’s the upcoming draft look ? Flames if managed correctly could have 3 or more first round pics , which could create a quick turnaround instead of sneaking in to be eliminated in the first round. Then lose some players for nothin

I thought this shakeup was going to be Coronato being recalled for tonights game.
His stat line on the farm is 12 GP, 7G, 8ASST, 15PTS
