Ben Shelley: Sharks destroyed by Canucks in 10-1 loss, losing streak reaches 10 games

I had season tickets starting with the first game at the Cow Palace. Frankly, I think the Cow Palace teams would dominate the current bunch. There were at least a couple of decent players then - Kelly Kisio, Doug Wilson (a better player than he was GM), Wayne Presley, Jayson More and even Link Gaetz. Oh, the memories. Is anyone going to have "memories" of the current bunch?

It was a pleasure to watch Francis/Lemieux/Jagr play against that bunch. Even as a Sharks fan, I appreciated how those three men played as one. I bet that they could still score at will, even at their current ages, against the current Sharks.

Sad.

Losing by 8 is at least an improvement over losing by 9. Small steps. I've been watching hockey for 35+ years. This might be the worst NHL team I've ever seen.

The sharks have been consistently succesful for 20 years, arguably the most successful in the league. Their thornton, pavelski, marleau, couture, etc core moved on, theyre rebuilding. A couple down years is okay.
