Good start to their rebuild, but this year will have to see them add further picks and hopefully some stand out young talent.

Creating cap space, not being too long-term committed to other contracts (especially on older players) is a good start.

San Jose is pretty much where Chicago was last year. Kinda painful to get through, but ultimately it should be worth it. Only issue is that they have two forwards locked up well into their 30's at high numbers. Hopefully, they can stay productive for that long.

Yeah with the current lineup, the Sharks will be well placed in the Celebrini derby. That's likely the best case scenario, getting high end talent in the upcoming draft.
