Chibrikov has been in North America since last spring.
Took part in July Development Camp and they said he looked pretty good. My understanding is that he was staying put here. Interesting to see how he looks when the Moose begin their season. |

Right. I didn't type that how I meant. Meant more so for when he starts playing here (AHL or NHL)

It’ll be interesting to see how Lucuis, Lambert
And Chibrikov do on the moose. Any of these players can get called up if they play lights out in the AHL. |

Big hopes for all three. Just be nice if one steps forward this season and claims a cenre spot. Lucius coming back from injury so ???
Opportunity is knocking for all three - but realistically, what, one year away? But all I ask is one to surprise. Is that too much?

Are there reports that Scheifele doesn't want to sign an extension? I haven't heard of any and it's been pretty quiet on the Scheifele front, it could be true that he doesn't want to extend but I haven't heard that.

Yes there are reports out there that Scheif does not want to sign an extension. Actually I've heard quite a few. Can't quote exactly who sad what, but Wpg media sources, hockey insiders and the like.
Now whether those reports are true or not is another thing. However when you hear enough of them, you have to believe they are true. You know, like, "where there's smoke, there's fire."
TBH I don't want Scheif to sign an extension, want him out of here. Yes, 42 goals, but I watched him play, to me didn't look like he cared about Jets victories, only goals, pad the stats, IMO. Who knows, maybe he was playing hurt? Or I was hallucinating? lol |

Scheifele has not been the same since the suspension (vs Montreal in 2021 playoffs).
We absolutely should have beat Montreal in that series, but his suspension just took the wind out of our sails.

You know I find this statement very funny.
I have always thought the very same thing - Scheif never the same since the hit and following suspension since the Montreal series.
Just never have been able to find anyone to agree with me until now. So glad someone else feels the same way! |

Yikes, not good news imo, Hellebuyck especially is gonna be an awful contract, please Chevy don't let Chipman force you into signing Helle to some albatross deal!

Tough call.....not giving him an "A", pretty much means they are moving him.
