No thanks. We have Ladd coming back and JHS as call up possibilty. After seeing the cost for Bjugstad, the prices are way too high, i hope Lou just gets a Brian Boyle and waits until July 1st for Panarin |

Islanders Buzz : Islanders May Move For Brassard.... - Eklund
Brass is having a hard year. Maybe a 2nd rd at best as a rental, but you would be better off getting a D-man.
This is one heck of a high risk season for you boys. Everyone felt you would be sellers, getting nice futures with some quality pending UFA's (Eberle, Nelson, Lee, Filpulla, Lehner, Spisa), either as rentals or not. Now, if you are buyers, and these boys leave in the offseason, the rebuild will be a much longer process. |

Or we could just resign Lee and Lehner and let everyone else walk while we pick up some quality UFAs? I definitely think Nelson should go and we would be better off. I wouldn't mind Filpulla staying but losing him will not be much of a huge loss, same for Eberle. |

Brassard at center would relieve some of the pressure from losing Tavares. Make it happen Lou! |

I'm sure if they still had him while getting Trotz and Lehner playing the way he is , they would be even better.

Absolutely. I am just saying it appeared that you would be selling all the bodies you could, and you have plenty of UFA's, now it's not going to happen. |

Yup, that's the way it appeared to most of us, too. That's the dilemma of having a decent team.........you can't dump guys on expiring contracts for picks/prospects. You guys have been there........just not this season. |
