Jan, I don’t see Rangers taking on any bad contracts.you can argue that G and Staal contracts crippled us during stretch where we were close to winning it all. And we’re still stuck with Staal and Smith for 3 more years. I don’t see a “long term” rebuild. The idea of getting younger started back when we swapped Brassard for Zib. I don’t see us wasting last 3 years of Hank and the prime years of Kreider, Zib, Hayes etc.... Only move I see coming as far as rebuild is trading Zuc. He’s kind of in same boat as McD was as far as age and impending UFA status... we’ve totally restocked prospect pool to the point where we are overloaded with left handed D and goalies. Saw rumors about Faulk this morning. Wouldn’t discount going after E Karlsson either. Considering we’re not deep at all on right D, I’d have no problem trading for either, although id rather Karlsson since I think we’d lock him up long term. Giving up assets for Faulk doesn’t make sense as I don’t see us extending him. I think Grabner will resign for 1 or 2 years. Guarentee he’d take less money to stay in nyc. He loves it here. |

I think trading for Karlsson is the last thing on the agenda now

Maybe you should take another month off then. Broken (frank)ing record with nothing intelligent to say. |

I don't believe JT will sign in Toronto, but that $5,148,829 US (after tax) he would receive in Toronto is about $150 mil Canadian. |

What's done is done. But the fact they would have taken Kravtsov over Zadina if Zadina was still available shows they flaw in this scouting staff/organization. This is not a slight to Kravtsov. - tomburton99
on Andersson. “He’s going to drive to the net and maybe run a goalie over once in a while.”
So who was there #1 forward Svechnikov? |

Yeah. Again, Andersson and Kravtsov are here. Hopefully they turn into Horqvist and Panarin. But what Clark said is just dumb. Zadina was a top 3 prospect 3 teams passed on. All because they went need over skill. I just hate the Rangers would have been one of those teams. |

Can't wait for the highlight of the offseason to be maybe trading for Callahan's awful contract |
