Detroit and the Islanders had great drafts.

If it wasn’t for Buffalo getting Dahlin I would be extremely jealous of those two teams and their draft selections.

If Tavares stays on the Island they’ll have a great team in 2-3 years.

Difficult to say which team came out on top the last couple of days. Only time will successfully tell us this but if quantity is any indication then the Habs and Red Wings come out on top!
Patches will not be moving just yet nor should he until MB gets the deal he wants. Perennial 30+ goal scorers don't grow on trees in todays NHL.

Everyone won because everyone added some nice prospects. Detroit killed it though, excellent draft for them. Montreal and the Islanders too!

Quinn Hughes for Calder though

Tavares, Barzal, Eberle, Wahlstrom, Dobson, and a lot of other good pieces. They're starting to get a really nice core in place. Should be an exciting team to watch

Thousands of your stupid made up "roomers", lies about this being the most busiest draft day and then Dorian says teams aren't talking much (that was sooo funny) and virtually NO trades happen.

Now you still have the gal to say you're updating that stupid made up "roomer" chart. Does anyone actually buy subscriptions for this site? What a joke.

Nor do top 6 Centers. Market value for an aging winger with a year until UFA is not as good as you want to to be.

It wasn’t just Dorian. Holland, Chia, Benning, Dubas all said it was actually very quiet on draft day for big trade talk.

Are you new to the whole hockey rumours thing? GMs rarely if ever tell the truth to the media. Do you not remember Treliving saying the Hamilton rumours were just coming from people who were drinking too much wine hours before trading Hamilton?

Let me help you out. When a GM says trade talks were quiet, he means that he was talking all day, but no one would give him what he wanted.

Are you kidding? The Rangers had an awful draft. Every single pick was off the board. Isles and Wings had by far the best and most complete drafts

I thought the Islanders and Wings did a great job. As a Habs fan I'd say walked away very happy.
11 picks. I was hoping Tkatchuk but it didn't address a need down the middle.
Kotkaniemi was the top centre.
Our 4th pick was a steal. I think he is as good as Kot.
5th Hillis and 6th Harris also steals.
9th pick Fonstad point per game in major jr.
Was not pleased with the 3rd pick Romanov.
They aslo picked up 3 draft picks for 2019.
They also added 2 CZE players after Worlds.
13 fresh faces. Lets hope most can pan out.

Should do a retro draft blog around now & see who has had the best draft from 2/3 years ago. Just to see 'who had a good draft'.

Are the Rags this years version of the 3 picks Boston? How are those selections going for the Broons? 1 of those players is a gun isn't he?
