Same as Kessel... Kovi just will cost too much for our cap situation.

I think Brodeur put all of those rumours to bed. Said something like he was a phenomenal teammate, great in the locker room etc.

i see! well, he might be one of the most talented player of this generation. if they could make it work i would love to see kovy-malking-ZAR or some of this sorts.

gonna play gm mode now and see if it works out

Especially if you trade Kessel. He'd be a perfect two year fit for your window

If you drop Hunwick and Sheary, you easily have room for Kovy...just sayin...unless Kovy takes a bit less (say 4mil/yr as base with bonuses?). PIT will want to shore up with one extra D and some 3rd/4th liners though..

It could be interesting to see Letang sent out to EDM for a younger D (ie, Klefbom or Larsson?) and, pick (2nd rnd?) or RFA (Strome?) or even Lucic (with EDM taking 50%?)...

Damn Sullivan just made Yohe look like a damn clown with the Kessel stuff. That was more than coach speak beating around the bush. He seemed legit mad

Seems like 1yr/$1M too much, but we also have no idea how good will still be at the NHL level.

Stephen Johns; three years - seven million. That will make him ONE of the richest people in Wampum.

Has there been anything spoken about in the media about what the Pens plan to do about DeSmith with the recent allegations?

Took him long enough. He should of done it earlier this month. The rumor circus was getting way out of hand.

My guess is they were hoping it wouldn't get out of hand and didn't want to dignify that crap. I never bought it for a second. It was funny how after the first cup with Phil, they talked about how Phil and Sully had a bad relationship, then after the second cup they said how great it was and now that they lose with Phil having a bad post-season, the relationship is bad again.

I'm liking everything I've read on Filip Hallander. Pens might have really gotten a steal.
