Yeah he can’t sign until exactly one year prior to UFA status which is July 1st which is after the draft so I guess the Sens are f’d. |

Karlsson needs to move to another team to benefit himself..... this whole "do it for Ottawa" mentality is selfish and will be a huge personal mistake if he does extend.
If you're team needs one player to be 'solidified' then you are ignoring the rest of the roster. |

Blow it up and reset the clock.
You could get a large bounty if you sell Karlsson, Duchene, Stone ( let the offer sheet come and take the picks).
Reset with Brown/White/Chabot/Zadina? or whomever they get at # 4/Gustaffson and what you get back in deals.
Cant worry about 2019 and what it might turn into - it is what it is and nothing is guaranteed - good or bad. |
