I think Hayes really took the next step last year and his size, going against other teams top pairs and still scoring 20+ are very desirable for a contending team. I guess for the RAngers with Zib/Chytil/Andersson/Howden all looking for top 9 spots Hayes is somewhat expendable.

I still want Hayes on this team. No guarantee Chytil can be a second line center and seems to be a bit premature to place him in that role or expect he can fill that spot.

Unfortunately I think Skjei is a 2nd pair guy. I break it down like this, 26 28 Nam for 10. Zucc Hayes Skjei for Draisatl and Lucic, maybe they could add a 2nd or something but it would take a lot for Draisatl but maybe a little less bc we’re taking on Lucic?

I’m not soured onSkjei, still think he’s a VERYgood 2nd pair guy, just not sure I see him going up against the Ovi’s McDavids, Kane’s etc of the league. Add a 2nd to the deal and I think it works out pretty well.

Misused last year and Quinn's style should be perfect for him. I agree he looked lousy last year but as I have said many times before, defenseman's growth is not linear.

We went to the Asbury Park Brewery to see a hardcore show. Highlights were Second Arrows (going into the studio), and Stag Party's album release show.
Quite the antithesis of Dave Matthews.

If the Rangers could get that, I think they would have to take it for a player that’s going to be a UFA next summer and would be a likely trade deadline move anyway.
