Just an FYI, it has been well known around St. Louis for the past years that Brady was a more exciting and better player than his older brother Matthew. Anyone saying anything different likely hasn't watched him play much and might be leaning on stats too heavily.

One of Nuge or Draisaitl will often play the wing with McDavid thanks to our lack of scoring wingers and having Kotkaniemi in the system could allow for: 1.) dressing three scoring lines once he's ready, 2.) positive development of his game could afford the team the opportunity to trade one of those Cs down the road (like, 3 or 4 years), 3.) he's a natural C but has played the wing before, so just have him play the wing so when the time comes for injuries to befall the team, we'll have a substitute.

When given the choice between drafting a C or a W, always draft the C if all else is equal. Cs can easily be taught to play the wing; the opposite isn't true.

Not convinced that's what will actually happen, but no one knows for sure. I'd definitely pick Dobson and Hughes ahead of Bouchard but Ottawa tends to not pick the way I would expect them to.

Did you not see the title? I said this is exactly what will happen. Personally I like Dobson more but I wouldn't be surprised if Ottawa thinks Bouchard has better upside.
