I think K'Andre and John Moore are both forwards who converted to defense. In some ways it's enticing but also worrisome. That said, I hope we take a defender in the first. I mean at heart I'm a best player available guy, but it seems like a bigger need.

Todd, what are your thoughts about Lundestrom? I've seen him ranked as high as 7th and as low as 26th but the general consensus seems to be in the 15-20 range.

What you should do is trade me #17 OA for Adam Fox and + in Jan L's mock draft. We don't want to lose him but it sounds like he wants to stay in the States to start his career..

No way Veleno makes it to 17. Better shot of getting Farabee or Ty Smith than Veleno and there's almost no chance either is still on the board when the Devils pick.

it's a classic lou strategy. he signed all of our players brothers to give them all jobs. keeps your players happy and it doesn't cost the team much.

Shero's drafted decently in the two years... whatever he does, I'll probably be behind. NJ this year started looking like the NJ he envisioned and it breathed life back into the franchise... hopefully he's got more magic coming.
