I doubt it, the only team I see doing that is Montreal and that's IF they keep their pick, it's going to go pretty standard otherwise. Beyond the top 10 yeah, I can see teams going off the board as needs/no consensus BPA dictate.

Did you read the blog, or look at the “expert rankings”? There is literally zero consensus past three, and even then there are some who have Zadina at 2 or at 4.

If the Canucks have any shot at signing Tavares (not likely at all) that 7th overall pick is as good as gone.

All jokes aside, concussions are just a part of the problem. I’ve watched the kid play 3 full games and I was not impressed. I realize that’s a pretty small sample size but I’m not a scout and my time is limited. Watching highlight packs is a waster of time. Every time I watch him I wonder why Merkley is hated on. They both don’t respect defense or their teammates. My 3 cents 😳

I get that. Bouchard, Hughes don't playin the own end that well, from the games I've watched anyways. Dobson does, but he doesn't have the offensive upside.

That's where I have him. If he was 3 inches taller and 30 pounds heavier, I might put him as the number 3 player overall.... kinda like if Peterson had been heavier he would have gone 1ov.

I wouldn’t there are too many forwards that are bpa. Also 4 other competing defenceman in this draft are arguably just as good but in different ways.
