Congratulations to the Flyers PR team for winning the 2018 Richard Dillman Award, presented annually by the PHWA to honor the work of outstanding NHL public relations staffs in each conference. The Western Conference winner is the Dallas Stars.

Ummm, modest much???

We know what the common thread between the 2 clubs is.

Congrats to the PR staff

Like Lundestrom, not so much at 14 but he’d be a solid pick at 19.

Good riddance. The organization did the right thing, despite the best efforts of the basketball elite to blackmail the Sixers into keeping him.

The damage may already be done though. We will find out this offseason.

I am saddened to learn only now that this was being called "woodergate" by some, but I am also very entertained by the nickname.

Anyone who adds "gate" to the end of a scandal should have their writing/reporting credentials taken away.

Odds on Lundestrom going straight to the AHL if the Flyers pick him?

So Colangelo resigns...

Wonder if they gave him the resign or be fired choice? I wouldn't have.

2 years in SHL I might think he comes over and goes for NHL/AHL tweener role.

Didn't the NBA force the Sixers into employing his father, and it was his father who offered him the job?

Pretty much...we now get to see who Adam Silver foists upon the team next. I can’t stand the suspense.

Then why are people mad at the NBA? The Sixers hired him as GM, not the NBA.

I’m sure some see his hiring as an extension of the league meddling, regardless of how he was brought on.
