I remember game 6 of 1987 well. It was the night of a Chicago concert on the Parkway. I was at the concert and as it ended the news of JJ's goal spread. Everyone was walking down the Parkway to City Hall chanting Let's Go Flyers and (frank) the Oilers.

I could see the Flyers having interest in both Players....Thing is they have seen a lot of both players. I remember the JJ Goal back in 87 as well....I had it taped on VHS for years.
In 2010 I came to philly and went to both Games 3 and 4....exciting times. Man if Leighton could have only played like he did against Montreal, they probably would have won. I really thought it was the start of an era that both Richards and Carter were going to lead us through....what a difference Chris Pronger made...never been the same since his injury.

The game 1 goal against Boucher was horribly played. Granted, the coverage wasn't great, but he took himself out of the play as soon as he dropped down.[/img]

Probably not.

I would be interested in a one year deal if Spezza gets bought out in Dallas. He could fill your 3rd line center role for a year. And then you can see if Frost, Laughton or maybe Vorobyev are ready to step in.

I know he's not the same player as the past but I think in a 3rd line type role he would be a solid add and could be for a cheap price.

May 29 marks the eight year anniversary of the wild first game of the 2010 Stanley Cup Final between the Flyers and Chicago Blackhawks.

Also, it's the anniversary of Roy Halladay's perfect game against the Marlins.

That evening was one of my all-time favorite sports memories, going back and forth between the Cup Finals and Halladay's Perfect game.

Honestly I would be shocked if Frost makes the big club next season.

I'd like him on the Flyers but I think the asking price would be too much.

As would I, as they've been eliminated from the playoffs.

Man, I was at game 6 in 87. When JJ scored that goal the building was so loud that it was shaking!

Game one against the Hawks was a bummer. If you score five and don't have to kill a penalty the whole game you would assume that you win that game. Not to mention the game was on the road.

Tough game to lose.

They need to work on their jump shots to be that good. I doubt they'll have the time since they'll probably spend most of their training time on hockey.

In response to BiggE. I was never at a flyers game at the spectrum but I’ve been there for a sixer game. Judging the video. I don’t think the WFC could ever get that loud. Wow

The Warriors? They are bordering on a dynasty. I hope they are as good as the Seattle Totems when they arrive in the NHL in a few years. You know cause expansion rules now make it a piece of cake for teams.
