Hahaha yeah as much as I like Ovi, F the Caps man.

MAF get it done. Get your 4th ring, get your Conn Smythe and finally shut all the naysayers up.

Still think Mario was the greatest goal scorer. Ovi is the greatest shooter of all time.

I still say Bossy was the best goal scorer, personally.

(frank) Tom Wilson, (frank) TJ Oshie, and (frank) Ted Leonsis. I hope none of them ever win anything.

Also, if Kuznetsov does his stupid premeditated bird thing, I hope someone goes Dale Hunter on him.

I was a bit young to remember his playing days. He had a pretty short career.

Yeah I don't care about those guys. I'd rather see one of the greatest players in NHL history win a cup. Those dudes are insignificant.

I didn't know you cared about Luca Sbisa that much.

Also don't know how you can call a top-line winger, a 2nd line winger, and the team owner "insignificant."

Insignificant to me, as in, I don't care about them, whether they win or lose means nothing to me, so yeah, they're insignificant.

He officially retired at the age of 30, but played his last game at age 29 due to back injuries.

I know that goalies of the 70s/80s/early 90s were bad by today's standards, but they also used 1-piece heavy wooden sticks, had the red line, were mugged continually, wore restrictive equipment (notably gloves), and didn't have the healthy training that teams do today.

Give him a composite stick and take away the red line, and he'd have scored 80 goals easily.

Well I don't care about any particular individual being part of a team award, so him being part of a Stanley Cup winner is insignificant.

But after all, it doesn't matter who scores more goals or wins more games, the important thing is which team has more 5v5 shot attempts for, that's the real winner.

Funny, I was led to believe that star players only got slashed/hooked/etc. in the current NHL .

Not that I love Ovechkin that much, but I can admit he's a great player and it would be fun to see him win a cup.

At least, more than the Vegas Golden Knights

McPhee pretty much has 2 teams in this cup final. 100% solely of Vegas obviously and he put together about 85% of the caps squad he either drafted, traded for or signed. Not bad.
