I still think Tampa is the deepest team in the NHL, so I will hold with predicting they win. That said, Vegas looks like a team of destiny.

I lean the same way.. Vegas is just so complete right now. If I had to bet, it's for TB.

Side question on Vegas. Do you think the way Vegas is playing is sustainable for that club into next season? I know they have a fair number of player to resign..

Strome is a big boy. His skating looks like it is improving. One thing I noticed is that he has really quick hands and seems to see the ice very well.

With his size and skill, if he can just getting his skating up to slightly below NHL average, he will be a legit top 6 winger.

Ive been saying since the start that he could turn out to be the value pick of that draft.

They are the deepest team in the league but the problem I have with Tampa is they're heavily relying on their Power Play and goaltender. Caps seem to be winning the turnover and possession game. I'm going for Ov now that the Jets are out.

That's how my eyes see it, too. There are probably #fancies that indicate that I'm blind, though.

The way he plays, as long as he can get to where he needs to be without falling over, IE, the corners and around the net, I can see him being a successful player with those hands and size.

And hockey IQ. That was a great pick, even if he doesn't make it in the NHL. Tons of potential in the 4th round.

Hexy will have one hell of a 2017 draft if Strome and Ratcliffe can make it with Patrick and Frost already looking like great picks. Sushko also had a good post-draft season!
