Any thoughts on the Sens moving down a few spots with a defense needy team...Oliver Wahlstrom or Joe Veleno would fit well in Ottawa.

In the last few weeks before draft their is some rejigging that comes into play. I think, for example Tkachuck will drop. Had he been born a couple days earlier he would have gone into last year's draft. He is essentially the same age as Formenton who was the youngest player drafted last year.

Age is also a factor in comparing Evan Bouchard and Noah Dobson. Dobson is younger and has great numbers. Wahlstrom is also a very strong pick of one of the younger guys in the draft.

Assuming 1, 2 and 3 go as projected my first choice at number four is Wahlstrom, my second choice is Dobson.

If you could get Wahlstrom farther down it would be a great move. But, the teams that might want to move up to four are the teams looking to steal Wahlstrom. Kid can score.

Possible, I really only see the rangers looking to make a move like that. Maybe try and get an extra first from them. If trading Erik Karlsson is gonna happen, mine as well load up on draft picks this year and next.

I think Karlsson fate may be tied into Lamerillo going to Islanders.

I think he signs Tavares. And, I think, he offers up a quality NHL player, two first round picks and two quality prospects for Karlsson. I think the Islanders are going all in now.
