it's huge...i'd still like to see a line of mitts-Eichel-skunk and could live with a second line of Wilson-ror-Okposo...

barring any movement amongst those six, namely ror/skunk

I'm hoping for a 3rd line of

Erod-Mitts-Okposo

ROR is probably stuck with Wilson unless they can make something happen

I thought Wilson played well with ror last season...if the sabres don't move 90, having him anchor a heavy line that gets on the forecheck and cycles isn't such a bad thing

the fact that wilson is an option for the top 6 tells me this isn't a good team

No it really is a bad thing.

Scott Wilson anywhere in your top 6, hell top 9 is a bad ting.

yup, but until there's an influx of talent, especially on the left side, what are you going to do?

True, but people will complain about his scoring. I'd love for them to get him a legit LW.

you can't without overpaying someone.. possibly the best way would be to move ROR to the left side and putting casey at center. but those two don't seem like a good pairing so you are back to square one

wouldn't mind him at all...when he becomes a sabre is when we can find his rightful spot in the lineup

Look, all we have to do is trust the coach's system...it doesn't matter if the system is tailored to the talent we have, as long as the players we have buy into the system we are guaranteed success! The System Rules!

See what it would take to Move to 3 or 2 first off, use ROR as bait +

If the cost is too much, move ROR for young fast wing help + another piece
Go hard after James Neal/David Perron/JVR.
Try and Go after Paul Stastny on a short term 2 Year deal to center line 2, Middlestadt as wing.
Bring up one or two of Smith/Bailey/Baptiste/Nyladner and actually give them a shot at top 6 minutes.

With the situation on the left side of the d corps, and with that San Jose pick, I definitely think they'll address the LW spot.

There's always Rick Nash. Does 3 x 4.75 get it done? I know he's slow, but assuming we ever do figure out young LWs, he could slide down the lineup. He'd also add a nice 2-way element to Eichel's line
