#61 RW on Pardubice. Click a game, select "Video," and the quality is solid. He's a quality player and potential target. Been on his train for a while.

He's one to keep an eye on to me, far from perfect but so is this draft. Wouldn't target him at 14, more like for the 19th pick.

Probably look more at Jesperi Kotkaniemi, Bode Wilde, Isac Lunderstrom, & Rasmus Kupari for that one

Kotkaniemi likely goes top 5-7 as the best natural center. But yes, I'm a huge fan. Lundestrom feels like a reach; I just think he's too safe. And I think Wilde and Kupari are future busts. Their hockey IQs are a total mess.

To each their own, they are not that bad may require time but unless you can get into the top 5 especially this year they won't in the NHL for 2 to 3 years.

Kotkaniemi is not likely going before Oliver Wahlstrom natural center or not. Oliver Wahlstrom right now is only in a small amount of mock drafts top 5. Most have him going #7 to this point.

One for some reason that at least intrigues me is Dominik Bokk..........which may or may not change.

I'm still waiting for the Celtics to come back down to Earth. I wouldn't count them out entirely when Baynes has the best 3 point shooting percentage in the entire playoffs.

Was an embarrassing effort by the Cavs last night, outside of Lebron. Makes me even angrier the Sixers didnt win that series.

- StepfordSam

I will enjoy watching GS absolutely dismantle the Celtics and show the world how much of a fluke their run really is.

I am in an open relationship with each one of Mordecai, Nucker, Mono, and yourself. This should be obvious.

Though Hammar is my idol.

They're two players I wouldn't even have on my board tbh. Kupari I've seen at Hlinka and u18s and reports match my eye. Wilde I have seen 15+ times in full games for UNDP. I've watched that team a ton. I just think he's indeed THAT bad, and I cannot fathom some of the hype he gets.

Kotkaniemi is not likely going before Oliver Wahlstrom natural center or not. Oliver Wahlstrom right now is only in a small amount of mock drafts top 5. Most have him going #7 to this point.

I think Kotkaniemi is better than Wahlstrom (I have Kotkaniemi 5 and Wahlstrom 9), and it does matter that he's a high hockey sense, 200 ft center line driver with goal scoring ability and Wahlstrom is more an above-average goal scoring complimentary winger. There was a rumor Montreal was interested at 3 even.

He could go earlier, but I just give my opinions. What happens happens. Dahlin, Svech, Zadina, Tkachuk are the only surefire players I'd consider over Kotkaniemi. And I think you could make a case for him with Tkachuk given similar skill-sets, 10 month age difference, and position. After that, whatever order Hughes or Dobson or Wahlstrom or Kotkaniemi, etc., go in really feels up for grabs. So, I don't think 5-7 is that crazy. Feels a little Dubois esque actually.

I think Vecchione and NAK are good bets to be on the team.
- Feanor

Really? How do you think they fit in? At this point I don't see them as up grades over what they already have. Would like to believe they are upgrades but not to sure about. Is either one real steady on the PK because if so that is maybe how they fit in.

I was the first on Kaut

I fell in love with Kotkaniemi at about the same time as the rest of the NHL. I would’ve loved him at 14. Crazier things have happened, right?

I think Berggren will be a future star. Since August I've been on his hype train. He has an "It" factor to him like few prospects. I have him in my top 10, though he probably is more a 19 target, and he could go later. Who knows? But he's that good. Watch and see with that kid because holy poop he pops in game action; the stats aren't lying. Some Gaudreau/Giroux skill and qualities.

Berggren, Farabee are my two realistic favorites. I also like Kravtsov and Kaut. 2 of those at both picks would be pretty sweet. Smith I have ranked around there, but I do waffle on him compared to them for a couple reasons. No one else really stands out to me. I think there's a drop off after them. I think the d-men around there are not too inspiring or would be reaching (as in you could get them later, even if I'm a fan), so I'm Team Two Forward. You could sway me on certain guys after them because I do like some others, but if any of those 4 are on the board, they are my targets. I'd actually be okay with a trade-down at 19 depending.

I save all my in-depth thoughts for pizzabuzz. I've been talking about Kaut and the others for a long time there. Those pizza loving (frank)s get bombarded by my opinions.

0.0% chance at Kotkaniemi at 14. He's never left my top 10-15 since the fall, but others have been slowly catching on as a riser, and his u18s didn't help.

Guys on next year's forward roster:
G
Coots
TK
Lindblom
Patrick
V
Simmer
Flip (think Hexy signs him cheaper)
Raffl
Laughton
Weal
Weise

Flip is the wild card. If he takes a discount he could hold the fort down. The big if is who will Hexy bring in during to off season in the forward area. I don't think he spends a lot but he will bring in someone for PK. This could be an issue for some of the Phantoms. Not sure we have someone that is going to impress enough to bust in.

I think Dobson doesn’t fall, but what if he does? Farabee, Veleno, Hayton? I’m leaning towards a trade down at 19 (would actually like picks next year) but will admit there are guys around there I haven’t seen too much of

Apologies in advance for making a post that barely makes sense. That is two separate thoughts but I’m tired

I have Dobson as my #2/3 d-man, depending on team fit, with Hughes (who would not fit here at all, and they wouldn't pick him lol). I think Dobson is pretty (frank)ing close to a top 7-10 lock. He's an excellent player. I think a little Lindholm-like.

Farabee at 14; Berggren at 19 is my realistic dream draft.

As for Veleno and Hayton.........I'm not a big fan of either, not just at our picks. Hayton at least looks like an NHL contributor, but Veleno's hockey sense is flat out mediocre, in spite of the top 10 tools he possesses. Hold on, I'll find some things I wrote about them.......
