Teemu at the game.

I once saw that guy outside of the Anaheim arena years ago shooting a video for the Ducks' website. Didn't have the balls to ask for a picture with him or anything.

I should probably point out that I’m only ragging on Myers alone because he managed to hit double digit giveaways in 40 minutes. Sure, Chairot handed Forsberg a goal by being clueless, but ho boy, Myers.

Jets PP was awful. The difference was right there. I also have to comment on a few others...where was the Buff that we saw most of the playoffs ?....where was a hard hitting Lowry ? Trouba was near invisible.

Bottom line is Nashville wanted it so much more. They were winning every race to the puck, they were hustling and back-checking back in bunches, they were determined to give every ounce of effort to win. They also did it one player short. Jets need to find a new level of energy if they want to advance because it just wasn't good enough tonight.

Completely agree, really disappointing that you don't show up for two home games in a row, guarantee Nashville will show up at home for game seven. Jets are done

I don't agree. I've been very impressed with your team and yes this was a bad game but I don't think for a moment that they're done. They've proven they can come back strong and I believe they will. I truly believe the Jets are destined for the Cup final this year.

Both teams will show up but you could flip a coin for game 7. Lucky bounces and deflections will ultimately determine the winner as they already have in several of the games.

Nashville played well, they were up against the wall, Im sure Winnipeg will play a much different game in game 7.

Game summary:
Jets PP was terrible,
lack of intensity with little hitting,
Rinne outplayed Helle,
no bounces our way,
Nashville beat our guys for the puck all night,
our top D was mostly invisible all night,
Give credit to Nashville for shutting down the Jets. Almost a copy of game 4.

Wow, talk about a true overreaction. The Jets are a very good team, the next two years are likely going to be the best two years for this team before the contracts start to squeeze them.

Dont write them off so easy, I know it's hard not to be passionate about them, but if they play their game they can certainly take this series still.

Most Preds fans felt the same way after game 5 as the Jets fans do after game 6. Each team got thoroughly outplayed in those games, respectively. And you wonder if your own team can get up off the mat.

This has been an incredibly close series - but in a weird way. The Jets have dominated a couple games. The Preds have dominated a couple of games. And a couple were close & turned on a few key plays. How close is this series:

ES shot attempts: 338-338
ES shots on goal: 177-177
ES goals: 12-11 (Preds)
ES High Danger chances: 66-65 (Jets)

One of the bloggers posted that from Natural Stat Trick last night after the game. As long as game 7 isn't a penalty fest or turns on some fluky bounce...it could be a game for the ages.

At the end of the day this series looks like it's coming down to who gets the bounces. Both teams have capitalized on chance plays.

Jets have been better in more open games, Nashville has ability to shut it down. I am pulling for a barn burner game 7 Jets win.

They were on for one goal against and I think Helly could have played that one better than he did. Trouba was brutal on the 3rd goal....left his man (Forsberg) alone to chase puck in corner.

Myers had 14 giveaways. Trouba made a bad decision with Forsberg, but Chiarot was completely oblivious to the fact that he had Forsberg behind him SECONDS AFTER HE SKATED BY.

I may be wrong, but it seems to me that if you do not score a goal, it is impossible to win a game. So, frankly, who cares how many giveaways that Myers made ?
(NHL.com shows 1 giveaway for Myers)
Fans should be more concerned about the comatose play of Laine and Ehlers.

I agree. This team has been way over-coached. Line matchups, dump and chase, this was never their style all season. I understand Nsh is good at the 1-3-1 strategy, that clogs the blue line, but thats why the jets are so good..... Perreault, Ehlers, Connor can all knife their way through a blue line. Let's quit dumping it in, because our chase has been garbage and they are having way to easy of a time breaking out. Taking line-matching away from maurice this next game will benefit the jets. Yes Benny, you are correct again. That's usually how it works in hockey. One team scores more goals than the other team, or, one goalie stops more pucks than the other goalie.

Its a simple game actually. Either score more or stop more. We didn't do either last nite.

Does anyone know of a good Power Skating coach that can be recommended to Laine so he can improve on his "piano tied his @$$" skating skills over the summer when the season concludes??

Giving up 3 goals is not tragic. However, not scoring a goal is.
