not necessarily, they mentioned that he isnt against playing in the AHL to start with, hes coming in to compete.

wouldnt he shocked to see Bernier coming back in and potentially even another goalie to fight for top AHL duties.

Bernier will test the market and I doubt Sakic will have the best deal for him. We shall see.

I'd be fine with bringing Bernier back on a 1 year deal with a similar salary or let him walk. He had a great midseason stretch but really shat the bed in the playoffs.

From a pure on ice standpoint it would be ROR. Stats knows when it's his contract year so he usually shows up on the last year of his deal. The guy is an absolute genius that knows how to work the system and has made a career of it! ROR is one greedy ba$tard but has a lot of intangibles that make him a great, albeit an overpaid player.
