I really liked Zadina since the world juniors but a part of me wants Brady Tkatchuk. Hockey has shifted to a more fast and skilled game but you still need that sandpaper to win in the playoffs, especially when that sandpaper has speed and skill. Brady Tkatchuk does that and scouts say he’s a big game player. What did he have like 10 points in 7 world junior games? From what I read he’s bigger, faster and nastier than his brother. He will be a pain in the ass to opposing D. Just ask Drew Doughty about his brother.

Please don’t take the Center at 3. Move down and get another great piece if you want a center.

I am perfectly fine with Zadina or Svechnikov though.

I think Dud's came from the Florida Org. not sure though because I don't follow the league as close as I used too. Don't overthink it, there's three studs up top, Make the pick. If in the four spot? yeah trade down and try to accumulate more talent.

Trade patch to the Isles for a package including one of their 1st round picks and then draft Kotkaniemi.

If you are going to trade Pacs to draft a center, might as well trade him for a center that was already drafted in the last few years and is more of a sure thing, no?

What options are out there for a young center? And the team will be willing to move? It will interesting to see what return they can manage to get for Pac.

They have try to make sure we all know that it doesn’t matter who is picked because its Bergevin doing the picking so one of them is surely going to be terrible based on that highly educated opinion. These types represent the worst of our fanbase, media, the internet. The Canadiens won one of the coveted draft lotto positions and they still aren’t happy….

They must be a joy to be around.

they will have to add, depending on the quality of the center. Picks at least

RNH could be on the move I guess. People were talking a lot about the Blues, but you said an established center. LA could use some scoring as well, but what do they have to give?

I think you're more looking at picks or prospects for Pac at this point.

I meant a young prospect drafted in the past 2 years, maybe 3

Maybe there's a deal to be made with FLA?

Teams are in no rush to trade them, I'm afraid the only way we're getting a top C is by drafting him. I would ask Timmins what he thinks about the top 3 centers in the draft and select the one he likes the least.

there is no top center in this draft, the best one are projected to be 2nd line centers at best

I'm not sure FLA knows what the frank it's doing so I would consider it, yeah. Same with the Oilers.

Borgstrom could be an option, 20yrsold, 6'3" center, just finished university with Denver. big offensive center drafted in 2016 (23rd overall)

Don't know him, but yeah, why not?

I still think that we will suck next season, so we may have a chance at a good center in 2019. But Pac is our best trade chip so we should consider it.

they need 2-3 great young centers IMO, they already have one prospect (la poele), Borg could be a great addition. I doubt they can get someone already established so might as well go for someone just about to start his nhl career

Re Patches...... You and Montreal over value him so much..... that a trade will not happen until the trade deadline in 2019....... you will get a very late 1 st in the 2019 draft and a prospect that would have a slim chance to crack your A.H.L . Roster....
