Missed calls happen all the time, it is a reality of the sport. But only gutless worms blame their losses on a single missed call. Especially when they get shut-out. Bruce Boudreau should just stfu and learn the definition of accountability.
If not getting the 5-on-3 you wanted (and by all accounts deserved) 'costs you the game' then you probably never had a chance in this series to begin with. Boudreau basically just told his whole club that they don't have what it takes to score against the Jets at 5 vs 5 when they are down in the series. What a stupid message to send to your players. |

Yes missed calls happen in every game but there is no excuse for missed calls on blatant infractions especially those with potential to injure the opponent. |

The excuse is called human error and it happens all the (frank)ing time. Welcome to reality everyone.
That whole 'cost us the game' crap is just pathetic coming from an NHL head coach. |

Ok, so by your logic if a team loses in OT because the ref's missed calling the play offside or didn't call a blatent trip on the play by the winning team then the losing team's coach is a gutless worm? That's just plain Genius!
- MnGump
without getting in to the name calling bit, the game still didn't come down to the one missed offside/penalty call in OT. There were hundreds of plays leading up to that point and dozens that directly impacted the outcome of the hypothetical game. |

People carelessly abuse the concept of causality when it fits their agenda. Gutless worms like Boudreau like to blame external factors (like a missed call) when the results are unfavorable but when the results are favorable these same types like to credit internal factors for the success. It is so transparent. |

When a team loses a game 2-0 in regulation and goes 0-2 on the PP while their opposition goes 0-1 on the PP and then the coach says a single missed call cost them the game, that is just bloody sad.
I guess the Wild never even controlled their own fate in this series considering their coach is convinced that they are entirely dependent on getting 5-on-3 opportunities JUST TO POTENTIALLY TIE IT UP. ..."cost us the game"...
Typical sore loser nonsense. |

Can't wait for the prophet Boudreau to explain how that missed call cost the Wild their chances at a cup. |

Typical know it all loud mouth nonsense. If you’re too stupid to see how a 5 on 3 power play that should have come to fruition could have easily led to a goal or even goals, then I guess you’re beyond help. The complexion of that game on home ice changes. It changes the way both teams play, it changes everything. But, of course, you don’t want to come in here and logically discuss anything, you want to come in here with your axe to grind agenda and tell us idiotic Wild fans what a loser our teams coach is instead of listening to reason. So honestly, no one here gives a (frank) what your “opinion” is on the matter. |

Yep, I get that. But if the wild get a 2 man advantage there, pretty good chance they score at least a goal and who knows, maybe more. Obviously nothing is guaranteed. But any half wit can figure out that any Coach would be pretty disgruntled and wearing his emotions on his sleeve after that loss following a hurendous non call that could have certainly changed the course of the game.
But no, there always some chumbolone like Ron pielep that thinks he’s the (frank)in end all be all of the final word on everything and any thing. |

There was no 5 on 3 power play goal and there never will be. Don't blame that on the refs, blame it one your own (frank)ing team for being unable to tie it up at 5v4 or 5v5. The fact that you state so confidently that there would have been one is laughable. You don't have a clue and neither do I and neither does Boudreau. That's why claiming that a missed call 'cost them the game' is a (frank)ing pathetic joke that no professional adult should every find themself guilty of. |

I hardly think anyone around the league would call that a "minor" penalty Ron. Pretty sure any coach around the league would be upset if one of their guys took a crosscheck to the dome and nothing got called. I also don't think that there's many wild fans out there that felt this team has a legit cup shot.
That being said, I don't believe that alone cost them the game. The only thing pathetic here is this team's clear lack of drive and will to win. Year after year we see other teams outwork and out hustle the wild. I personally am hoping for a GM change. Its time for fresh eyes to come in here and make some changes, this team clearly isn't built for long runs. |
