Is Thursday's game maybe the most important game in franchise history?

Blue Jackets lose 3-2 to the Washington Capitals

Those 2 OT periods have been some of the best hockey i've seen in a long time, just momentum shifts after momentum shifts .

And yes , as stated in another blogg , this could be dangerous given Holtby is playing with some urgency now.

At the draft I thought Columbus was crazy to pass Puljujarvi for Dubois. I was wrong.

Should've realized Kekalainen was GM not MacLean and a Finn passing a Finn he must've known what's what.

You were all over them all game long. They are the luckiest of goals away from being in REAL TROUBLE. Stay the course.

With all due respect, Wilson is a problem for Columbus only because of his head shot on Wenndburg that that should have gotten at least a 1 game suspension. If Wennburg is playing last night the Jackets win that game.

Still, it was a fantastic game to watch. I can't wait for the GM to get one more high skilled offensive guy up front and see us playing for the Cup soon.

If the Jackets can't find the extra gear needed for the playoffs, this will be done in less than 7 games - and not in the CBJ favor ! Getting down 2 goals all the time will bite you in the ass at some point - and it's happened these past 2 games.

How can that team come out so flat , and confused?? Any transition game looked out of sync, the players were not getting shots in the high-danger area - it seemed everything was on the perimeter.

Ya' gotta get Holtby moving around in the crease - he was definitely too comfortable.

They better come out flying on Saturday.
