No word on hedmans spear but a "phantom" call for contact to the head?

Coop will rein them in. JT looked lost last night. Good effort by the Devils and no one thought it would be a sweep nor an easy series. As always time. For some adjustments and get ready for tomorrow night.

Heddy was just checking to see if the kid had balls.

We must be watching a different game. I'm watching a game where Girardi and Coburn have stepped up in the playoffs and have really brought the physicality to the front of the net along with great defensive positioning. Hall jumped over the boards and got behind Girardi in game 2 but besides that both defenders have been solid. They haven't been a weakness at all.

I understand Cooper's decision with Sergachev. Sergachev can puck handle with the best of them but he has been juked out of position a couple times in the limited time he has played. Play him too much and it may be something the other team can exploit on a regular basis.

The Stamkos and Kucherov are becoming a problem. Way to fancy. Simplify and become a 5 vs 5 force! When they are on the ice they become a liability. They are only useful on the powerplay!

That was a bad move my Heddy and will get a nice fine and it was a phantom call as Coleman head down turned into Sergei who never moved to hit him.so the calls evened out. Stop the whining all ready there’s no crying in hockey.

You're thinking of baseball.

Mike Peluso was a hell of a tough guy and cried winning the cup.

I cried a little when my son's 9-8 PeeWee team beat a 17-0 team to win his league championship. I'm an assistant coach and was on the bench.

He didn’t move?? Think you need to turn on NHL network or watch the replay he clearly Hip checks Coleman in the head... now did Coleman sell it a little of course he did but you can’t say it was a Phantom call

Been Millers problem his entire career. Loses his assignments in the D zone and 1 point in 40 PO games.

I'll take a page out of New Jersey's book. They won because the Bolts gifted them those goals.

Next.

I hate to say it, but if the Bolts are having trouble with the Devils' defense, then we're screwed. Outside of Vatanen, there is nobody on that D that should give the Bolts problems.

And what gifts are those? A great goaltending performance by our own goalie?

He is being sarcastic to the fact that alot of devils fans said in games one and two that the devils gave Tampa their goals instead of acknowledging that maybe the bolts had something to do with the fact that the devils defence having a couple breakdowns. The bolts shot them selves in the foot and the devils capitalized and won the game, and the devils definitely got the lightning to commit penalties with there play. But in games 1 and 2 devils fans wouldn't admit the bolts play was a reason that the devils had gaffs that led to goals.

Cory was great but if I'm the bolts I get him moving he is clearly injured still looked like the groin. Going to be a great game 4. Bolts need to stay out of box, continue to apply forecheck at 5 on 5 and cover Taylor Hall :-)

I stole the line and it’s a general joke not about those cries of joy from winning as I’m I mean sure the point of your comment was to be about your teams success. Good for them they worked hard to win and to have a great season.

It’s not that they’re scoring well on the PP 2for 13 but 7 penalties is a whole hole period of disruption to the lines and pressures on the PK. They should be more worried aboout a PP 6 out of 8.

If Hedman doesn’t get a fine then something is clearly wrong.
But that’s all it should be.

But that would put him on the list and he’d be a repeat offender next time.

We had moments where our offense was firing on all cylinders... but my god, I think I screamed "SHOOT THE F*(&( PUCK" a dozen times last night. Yeah,we put up decent shot totals, but there were times we were looking for the pretty play rather than put it on net and grind it out.

We were undisciplined, watching Coleman's head explode from brushing against Serg's elbow was top-tier gamesmanship- and you know what? Fine. It's the playoffs. Do what it takes; fine.

The little Hedman how-d'ya-do was... weird. Victor is far chippier than he gets credit for, but that one was just...odd. He gets fined? Alright. Suspended? No. Nothing happens? Probably.

Anyways, our PK is looking better, which is a positive. The PP is freakin' scary, as always. Vasy has been pretty good; not Brodeur 2.0, but still pretty good.

And good on NJ. They're a fast, young, team and deserve a lot of credit for that gut-check of a game; win or it was all over but the crying.

I was really surprised about Hedmans love tap at the end of the game. That seemed very uncharateristic of him, given his playstyle and how he usually stays cool headed. Hopefully next game, we tone down on the penalties and score some even strength goals.
