How on earth can you use the - there was no elbow extension argument here? Insane. There was no extension, I AGREE. But, there was no extension when Cooke ended Savards career either. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t cheap and suspension worthy. The outcome was way different I get that, but the hit itself was all too similar.

First off I gotta say, I really enjoy your coverage of the Preds and think you do a really solid job here and have for many years.
But you are full of BS on the Hit to Barrie, everything else I pretty much agree with you on.
But that hit no way , If it had been the other way around and it had been Mac hitting Ellis with exact same shot.
You would've been on top of Bridgestone screaming your lungs out for him to be suspended, so lets hope that this one questionable hit that the league didn't do anything about doesn't turn into much more.
Remember the Preds have a hella of a lot more to lose then the Avs do.

Ya that’s a bit of an awkward sentence. What I meant to say was - I agree that he never extended his elbow, but not did Cooke. That doesn’t mean that it wasn’t a headshot though.

To recap: Primary point of contact was the head. It was from the blindside.

I agree no extension, but it was still a headshot. You can still elbow someone who’s bent lower without actually throwing your elbow at his head.
