Great blog
Why would you stop blogging on HB? - WaterBoy
Like you mentioned before man, I’m the interim guy
I haven’t had an exit interview yet, hopefully my attitude was up to snuff for Eklund. |

Great blog!
I would like to point out something I found very funny when discussing at work with a Bruins fan. MB went on and on about getting these guys with character, even at the expense of skill. Then after this disastrous year, the problem... character/"attitude".

This team reminds me of the Leafs 10 yrs ago with the great combo of Richard Peddie & John Ferguson Jr. |

Do you have confidence that MB can make trades or signings that actually make the team better? His recent track record isnt so great. |

So, I usually never listen to these end of the year press conferences, but given the moves Bergevin did off and during the season I was really curious into knowing the though process behind them.
Instead, it was a whole 75 minutes of nothing with Bergevin being incomprehensible in his answers and reasoning , throwing Price under the bus for the season, only to pick him up after in the later questions saying he cares and so forth. |

I think that he can. I also don’t hate him for the Subban trade though and I love Weber (And subban!). I think whether we like it or not all that cap space is being sent towards Tavares probably to the tune of “League max” value. Then no one can say he didn’t try. If that fails probably a bad overpayment for Stastny but they literally need to address this hole ASAP to take advantage of Price and Weber at this stage in their careers.
No more waiting. That position needs top priority and MB will pay because the market knows he has to. I hope everyone rips that band aid off now. |

I think that even Price would tell you he was a big factor in the teams downfall this year. I didn’t see MB saying anything malicious, just addressing the facts. He said if Price played like himself they don’t lose 40 in regulation and for all I’ve heard the last few years about the team being only Price, I’m inclined to believe that statement. |

If your team management strategy is to solely rely on the goalie then it's no wonder they haven't been successful. Every year their fate relies on Price being healthy for the full season and playoffs. Price is a difference maker, but this strategy is obviously not working.

That arrogant bastard blames the season on attitude.
If that's the case, the fix should start at the top.. - pete26
One day, it will come down to talent, Pete.
Only a matter of time before they throw "attitude" under the bus, like they have thrown "character" and "no excuses". |

As long as the money keeps coming in they do think the fans are that stupid. Bottom line is fans can boycott the games and ask for change but they dont. A whole lot of people female doging about their ticket costs while still going to watch a crappy product... Welcome to the Dallas Cowboys of the NHL. |

I don’t think it’s soley on Price but as you said he is a difference maker. He’s an impact player. Look at Giroux in Philly, last year calls for his head were heard, this year he cracks 100 pts. Sometimes, your best players have to be your best players for your team to succeed. |
