I remember hearing Michael Stipe commenting about Losing My Religion being about masturbating.
That being said it's time O'Reilly moves on. I don't give a care that he has a big salary just get him out of Buffalo. He just as much said he doesn't want to be a part of the solution.
I don't want to hear about he did this and he did that. He wanted to be captain. Well a true captain a true leader will motivate and cajole his fellow players to play their best. To give everything they have. And O'Reilly failed . He failed miserably. But he never ventured into calling other players out.
Look I've played on losing teams. And one thing I have in common with Jack Eichel is I hate to lose. On those teams I would constantly be trying to "convince" the other players who just didn't have the same sentiment to try their best.
I'm not comparing myself to O'Reilly. I really like the guy. But the fact is he does not want to be a part of the solution and that makes him part of the problem. |

You know the Sabres roster. That's asking a lot (the impossible, really), and you know it. 'Cause even at their best, the depth players aren't very good. |

Garp, if someone speaks to you incorrectly, do you correct them? Or do you let them make the mistake over and over.
It's THE not teh |

I agree totally. The Sabres cupboards have been bare for skilled players. Thank God Mittlestadt looks like he is going to be a good prospect. And Guhle and Nelson look like they are ready for the NHL.
The team does need a heart transplant. To much happyslapping and giddy behavior during a game where they are being embarassed.

I love how Garth posted Eichel's PPG average at Away games, because posting his PPG from All games would have him much lower than 9th in the league. Lmfao whatever makes you feel better I guess! |

He waits until everyone leaves, and the lights are down.
then he does things; quiet things; wonderful things, that are a secret.

THAT'S the question. |

He has gotten past day 1, I guess. At least this article is about an actual Sabres player. Next goal: write an article without using the word "teh". |

so now they put a stake in the ground and that everyone needs to do it better. I guess maybe sometimes in the past 7 years maybe they should have thought of that. But no I guess they mean it/ Until the come out and win 3 games in October and they have to start fighting in November already. Let's see how things go then. |

jack who? - ziffles
Lame. Jack is an undeniable talent. Maybe not quite as great as hoped but then his team is awful. Plus, people hit their strides at different times.
A year ago: Mathews> MacKinnon
Today: Mackinnon trumps Mathews and it isnt even close. |

I feel pretty OK. I’ll feel better when Chiarelli is sh!t canned though.
Also, dont get pissy because I said one of the Hart favorites is better than a Leaf. Its nothing personal. |

I see the Sabres as a playoff team in 2018-19. SAYS THE VILLAGE IDIOT. Selling "hope" since 1970. |

Good to see Eichel is committed to Buffalo, given they are paying him 80 million dollars over the next 8 years
That Jack is a stand up guy! |

Of Eichel’s 64 points this season, 27 were goals or primary assists recorded during 5-on-5 play (excludes 6-on-5 situations). This topped his previous career-best total from his 81-game rookie season (24) by three in 14 fewer games.
Who cares? They finished 31st. Stop trying to put lipstick on a pig.
Sabres have some nice talent in the pipeline. However they don't have enough of it. 2-3 more years of good drafting and development is required to repair Murray's mistakes. Besides, it will take at least that time to rid themselves of the bad contracts on the books. You cant buy them all out |

Clearly you don't feel OK.
Yes, I imagine Edmonton fans will be happy when Chiarelli is poopcanned. How him and Bergevin have a job is a (frank)ing mystery.

I prefer Auston Matthews - Atarileaf
I know Buffalo has Eichel but I actually prefer Provorov to him. I think a franchise defender is harder to find. And not sure Eichel is what he was touted. Maybe that's a product of what's around him |
